About the Author:
Alexander Lobanov (1924-2003) deaf-mute artist who spent 56 years in a psychiatric hospital. As a child, he was strongly impressed flooding his hometown Mologa (now it Rybinsk Reservoir). In 35 years Lobanov begins to draw, and draws much on any scraps of paper. He developed his own technique of writing: from rods squeezed pasta, stirred and thin sticks, and sometimes matches, began to draw.
